Review for game: Royal Settlement 1450

The kingdom’s treasury is nothing but a gaping hole of emptiness. The liege lord is utterly discontented and astonished – what could be the best way to fill up the treasury again? The king appoints you to liege man in “Royal Settlement 1450“. Your task is to build towns, villages and trade-routes in order to turn wild nature into prosperous and primarily profitable terrain. There is no time to lean back because the king is waiting for profit and patience has never been one of his strengths! But your chances of success are high. great game

I love these kind of games, specially this one. The challenges are very exciting and in continuous mode you can play a relaxed game without paying attention to the king or any tasks. Also the graphics and sounds are very beautifull. Love it, will play it again and again. I highly recommend this game.

Challenging strategy and time managament

Challenging strategy ? time managament game with a nice story, great gameplay, wonderful graphics and great backgroundmusic. All this means a lot of fun. You have to colonize uninhabited country on behalf of the king to fill his treasury. From time to time the tasks get more and more difficult. In the beginning you will be coached by a monk, who is introducing you into the game menu. So you get a smooth start to play this game. Try this game, you will not regret.

Fun in the Middle Ages

I loved this game, the free trial went by like nothing, so I guess I will have to fork out some cash for this one. The game is a mixture of time management and strategy games like Settlers/Cultures. You have to built a small village and get production of raw materials and food going to keep your village growing. Problem is, your King is getting unhappier by the minute. You can bribe him from time to time to get some extra time. All in all, a good and challenging game for everyone into time management titles. Soundtrack could have been a little more medieval for my liking. Graphics are just fine for this kind of game.

Good game

I really enjoy this game, hope they release the next one soon ,do not change the strategy please.

Nice built-up-game with a little strategy

Overall it's a nice game with few shortcomings. The tutorial could be more detailed and the controls are a little tricky. But the graphics look really nice, the background music fits the theme and the levels are not too easy. I dont know yet how much levels there are but the first were really entertaining. And to collect the ressources is an essential feature. It keeps you at it and you will not get bored while waiting for your ressources to be produced. Also this forces you to think about a good layout for your settlement. I can only recommend to try out yourself!

Started on the wrong foot

It might have been a good, playable game if the developers would have treated some things differently. The construction, hiring, and information windows sometimes overlap, so it's hard to click where you actually want to. Animation seems to be OK, another main issue would be clicking for every resource appears near the production buildings. Even here, the resources are hidden underneath the construction panel and moving around or trying to see the whole map it's not always the easiest task. Music and characters' voices are boring. Still, a funny and challenging game if you can get past all these issues.

Not sure about this one

I typically like this kind of game. This one would be great if it weren't for a couple things. I don't like that you have to click on the resources to collect them, especially because you can't see the whole area at the same time. . . which is another thing I don't like. You can only zoom out a little bit so you still have to scroll around the screen. I also don't like that you have to hold the right mouse button to move around the screen. It just makes it harder to maneuver. Other than those things, the game is a pretty standard building game.

I'VE PLAYED BETTER

To be honest with you I didn't finish the demo because the game was too slow. You have to wait and wait to buy anything because you are clicking on a coin one at a time over and over just to build a sawmill. Then again you have to click coins every few seconds to have enough to hire a worker. I like some of the more recent TM game way more and perhaps this gets moving faster after you play for a while. I'll pass.

typical strategy

This is a typical strategy game...nothing new

Royal Settlement

no real tutorial took me a few to find the build menu, u click on anything when u start nothing happens at 1st seems to be more relaxed no choice of difficulty except casual unless u don't leave the check in the box...idk since i left it there this is also based on 15 min of demo...think will wait for the 2.99 special...but dont let my review sway u from trying it :) like all games it is a matter of taste what one loves another may not :) Happy gaming all u fishies ^^
