excellent No 2 game..although im afraid everytime the 2's...lol. This is faithfull to the point of no 1...and gives more. I loved that too...Im waiting for no 3......please do something !!!! MAKE IT !!!
I read the bad reviews on this game and decided to try it anyways. I'm so glad I did! I loved all the decoration selections and facilities! I especially loved the animals and the store where you can buy even more for your islands. I was extremely happy with the length of the game and the bonus games! I don't worry about the time when I play; I just enjoy building. That didn't affect my enjoyment of the game at all; I was able to take as much time as I wanted and still got all the upgrades in the store. This game was definitely worth the money and I will be hoping for a 3rd sequel!
I have Paradise Beach 1 and 2 and I love them both. They are games I play over and over. This game is awesome, you get to build on fab beach locations and hire a crew to help with anything from cleanup to mantainence, security and life guards. There are a lot of things you can build and decorations like flowers, fountains, statues, etc. You get to build your facilities where you want to instead of games that you have to build in specific places. The goals get a little more challenging the further you go at each destination but none too difficult or too boring and you can play in sandbox mode. This is a fun game and you won't finish it in a couple hours!
I really liked the first Paradise Beach so I was excited to see part 2. The first was tough but not so tough that it wasnt fun. This one is. It gets way too frustrating trying to get gold on each level.
I, too, was so happy to see this sequel come out but sadly, I didn't make it past the free hour. The major problem is that in order to achieve three star ratings, you're dependent on the AI to create the opportunities to finish under the line and the AI doesn't cooperate. At all. You will have the required buildings/stand built and whatever is in your control to do done and be sitting their waiting for the AI to pop the opp (cute!) to complete your goals as you watch the time tick away and pass the gold.
This falls way short of the first edition. The first edition of Paradise Beach was absolutely fantastic... I couldn't stop playing it and it enthralled me so much I was obsessed with playing it and so happy to see the second edition. Oh, what happened?!!! The quality, charm and overall great game are GONE. Ack! This, the second version, is completely cheap and tacky with gross neon colors and ugly characters and cartoony unrealistic graphics, the wonderful Paradise 'world' is no more.... Sad.... I hope they come out with a fourth installation with at least the same talent the original team had... graphics designer, et al, and I'll buy it; otherwise, no buy for me!!! I would not recommend this edition at all. The first one, I would highly recommend. Disappointment to say the least. :*(
