Yes, "Il Pensieroso," himself, that great masterpiece of sculpture, would have loved this "think tank" adventure. To my delight, there were no HOs to clutter things up, and all that awaited the player in this game was how to get to the next level without any help. This was one of the ultimate "how to" adventures, and the player found himself taxed to the extreme, in some cases. I heartily recommend this game to anyone who truly likes to think without using a guide (although a walkthrough is available, and the game itself encourages the use of YOUTUBE for the solution of the slider puzzles which could really be figured out without help). A word to the Developers: Why not include voices and more than one character in your next planned adventure? It would add 1000 percent to the adventure factor.
it kept my attention was an actual game without all the hog's which if i wanted that as part of my games i would buy hog games i really am tired of the games that use hogs as fillers for lack of imagination to farther the game i really really buying an adventure or large file game without hogs any with them should be in the hog section
This has always been a fav of mine. I feel it's not a good one for beginners, as the challenge is pretty steep. This game is unique, mysterious, and captivating. It is NOT: pick this up, use it here, find this, go back a screen and use it. It's refreshing in it's atmosphere(s) as well.
I love this game the music is beautiful and the rooms, scenery and ideas outstanding. you may need the walkthorough now and then if you are stuck, get the next game also 'Revelations' it is a great follow up to this story, I hope they can design another episode I will be looking out for it.
There are many clever puzzles throughout this game and the entire journey is fun. It's really well-done, and the sound effects are great. I hope we see many more games like this one from this company.
Really enjoyed this game, it was different, not your basic adventure, hidden object. No hint button was a trip but I made it, definitely made you work for it. It was great I would recommend it.
This game had me really thinking to figure out the puzzles. Interesting challenges trying to figure out what objects work together as sometimes no idea what you have picked up. Simple storyline, but I enjoyed this game. Look forward to the sequel.
A very nice game, though it was a little short, but not exceedingly so. If you like your hand held with hints and explanations this is not for you. If you like to figure things out for yourself it is worth the price. This is not a HOG as someone previous to me wrote. You gather objects and figure out how to use them to complete each area. These objects are not identified in your inventory, you need to figure out what they are and do by interacting them within the inventory or the area you are in. Some are easy and simple , others are not. I highly recommend this game for those who like a challenge.
This was really a great game, except.....! I would have given this a 10, but it was very difficult to finish. I always play 'expert', 'advance' and try not to use hints or walkthroughs; but I did use the WT a few times! The problem was NO NAMES ON INVENTORY ITEMS and you had no idea what they were!! There was no information, and no hints, so between the 3 together, you were really on your own. All I needed was names on the items or at least pictures clear enough that I knew what the item was. A lot of logic and reasoning is needed to advance, so if you got what it takes, go for it!!
I enjoyed playing this game. It made a good change from playing the hidden object games. The storyline was interesting and told through cutscenes with a voiceover. Items that were to be found or interacted with had sparkles but they could get in the way of looking for other things in the scene. That was somewhat of a distraction but not enough to not want to continue to play. The inventory items do not have labels on them and sometimes it was difficult to see exactly what it was you had picked up. These items you occasionally had to combine with other inventory items. There is a walkthrough that is available and a few times I had to use it. Most of the time the puzzles were logical and with some thinking could be solved
