Seems like I am the only one out of 10 people so far who likes this game. The graphics were crisp and the storyline interesting. Game play was very straight forward; no back and forth. The only complaint I have is that it was way too short. This game also had a different approach to the HOS. You have to mouse over the location and find something to click on, then the silhouettes of the items that you need to find are populated. Inventory items are used immediately. The mini games were varied and not too difficult. I think I skipped 2 or 3 because I just didn't want to spend anymore time on them or I couldn't figure out exactly what to do, and it was not important enough to go to the walk through to find out. This is a short, simple game, but a nice relief from the darker games that are more prevalent.
Good interactive game, bright grafic, lots of fun playing it.
Although I liked the fact that this game had no paranormal aspects, it was very short. It probably took me about 2 hours total and I'm an average player.
Perhaps this is an older game I purchased as a $2.99 special (I can remember). If so, that would explain why it is inferior to a lot of the hidden object games available now.
You don't have to think, everything is explained. It takes a long time loading new scenes, boring sound, crisp graphics, but no movement, no animation. I could not even play one hour! Annoying.
This review is based on the full game which I have just finished. As other reviewers have said, it is quite short and formulaic. I thought that the graphics were not bad, some of the puzzles were interesting and the HO scenes were OK. There are a number of varied locations- a boat, beach hut, lab, underseas- and hidden objects are spread over a number of scenes, which adds challenge and makes the game last longer. What spoiled it for me was the cursor, which had a total mind of its own and was so irritating while attempting to move around scenes and find objects. I nearly skipped one particular puzzle entirely, it was so hard to control. Another thing I found very irritating was in one number based puzzle, I entered a correct answer, but it wouldn't accept it! I had to keep looking for the 'right' combo! In fact, this is a common theme, as you will search for the 'right' pliers, gun etc among a pile of identical/ similar items until you find the correct one! Overall, I found this game too frustrating to recommend it.
This game is different in many ways. But it's not very good.
Very boring game. Nothing to keep me interested for long. Would not buy this game!
This is almost pure HOS/puzzle with a very thin veneer of adventure. Good graphics. Good music. Characters in the game often ignore ominous letters, threats, etc that are highlighted. Hints are helpful most of the time. Many objects have to be combined into tools, using parts found in various parts of a scene. Assembly is easy. If you like an easy HOS, this should be a good game for you.
I found this game to be a bit simplistic and repetitive. 'Find these items, combine them and use them on this item...'. Also took an age to load each screen. I am not a big fan of the cartoon like graphics either. I only tried the demo and didn't even finish that so it was a definite 'no' for me.
