Keep your wits about you as everyone else kicks the perverbial bucket !!! Pay close attention !!you MAY be next on the killers' list !! Beautiful scenery, well done storyline, and a VERY surprising ending !!
Good; story, locations and fun to play
I initially wasn't expecting much in this game but I stand convinced and corrected! Brilliant graphics (great for those of us whose computers can't go the distance with large games#, good and realistic voiceovers #not too many of those#, non-annoying music #I didn't switch it off, which is saying something). I've played tons of these HO games and I have to say that I even skipped a few of the mini games they were that clever!
This was so much fun to play: the murder plot, the characterizations with dialog, the scenes on the island (made me wish I could go and stay!), the HOS's, the puzzles, just everything. Good job, and wish there were more from this developer.
Play it and see how good it really is. You will love the way this game keeps you wanting more.
yay!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It is so nice to have a game that is not dark, gloomy and full of skulls, cobwebs and creepy crawlies. The beautifully rendered Greek Island settings are a mini vacation peopled with interactive, photographically real characters who are a bit different than their cartoonish counterparts. Teenagers will probably relate best to the cast and the situation. But not to worry, there is still plenty of mystery and murder to please those crime solvers amoung us. The game play is lightly challenging, relaxed as the setting and comes complete with a very helpful map that transports you around the island, so navigation is a breeze. It has been a few months since I played, but I recall that it took the usual amount of time to play with few if any hints. Altogether, if you are not looking for too much of a strain this was an enjoyable little gem that adds variety to the usual Hidden Object game list and deserves to be more popular than it is.
Nice little game, good length and story line. I liked the ability to jump from location to location. I think the puzzles needed a little more "how to" instruction and definition of the objectives. I had to skip a couple because I couldn't figure out what I was suppose to do. All in all, I really enjoyed this game. Blessings,
I am so glad I found this game. Very engaging, interesting plot. Excellent music. Beautiful scenery. Actors voice overs added to the suspense. There is a map to change from one area to another. Challenging, but doable, unusual puzzles. The only suggestion is a count to keep tract of the tiles that you collect (most screens have 3 tiles each). Not being sure how many I still needed of the 96 was discouraging). It was such a relief not to have vampires, ghosts, asylum or darkness (masquerading as a challenge for HOG).
I feel abolutely compelled to write a review of this game...in hopes of getting more people interested in playing it, because, IMO....it has the best 'story' of any game I've played in 2 years. PROS: Great actors, cut scenes, map with jump feature made it easy to get around the island. The HOS games were interactive and engaging in that you had to solve 'mini riddles'. Most of all the story has great twists and turns to keep you guessing. GOOD ENDING FOR A CHANGE!!! There is no worring about what got missed in the "CE" version. CONS: Grapics fade to blur in the distance in some scenes, taking away from the beauty of the island setting. I HIGHLY recommend this game and will in all likelihood play it again and probably again.....
