Similar game play to the first one with added hidden object mini games. Excellent storyline & graphics. Not as challenging as the first game, but still overall a great game and I enjoyed playing it. Only thing I didn't like was the fact that you can't go back and repeat levels to get expert on them all.
I like this game. It's not the most challenging, but I keep going back to it. It is a time management game with a hidden object game inserted intermittently. The only drawback is there is no way to go back and replay a level if you don't get expert on it. You have to replay the entire game to get a higher score. I would definitely recommend it. Not too challenging. But the level thing is a drawback.
overall, a nice game with good graphics and storyline (not really much of a plot, but this is a TM game). the power ups are good, not too easy to earn, and the levels increase in difficulty as you go. there are breaks with a hidden object scene every 4-5 levels. the pace is good and enjoyable. my only complaint - especially as an experienced TM player who likes the expert challenge - is that you can't restart or replay a level unless you don't meet the basic goal. not great if you get off to a rough start or want to improve on your totals. also, no trophies that I can see.
I got this game on a daily deal, and I have to say it was well worth it. I'm a fan of both time management and hidden object games, and you get both in this one. It is mostly time management levels, with a hidden object game occasionally thrown in between. In all of your shops you have a variety of items to sell, as well as a few specialty items depending on what shop you're working in. Muriel uses magic, and once you upgrade she is able to carry up to 5 items and use a spellbook to make her job easier. You get opportunities sporadically to upgrade your shop and unlock recipes and items to sell. You even have the opportunity to unlock real-life recipes that you can use yourself. Overall I thought the game was very well done. The time management aspect is definitely stronger than the hidden object part- I don't think there was a single hidden object level where I didn't get a time bonus. Still, all the levels were enjoyable to play. While there was certainly a challenge, the levels were not super difficult. The only problem is there is no way to go back and replay levels to improve on your score or get "expert." Once you play a level, that's it- there's no map that shows the individual levels. On the plus side, the storyline was easily the best I've seen on the time management games I've played. It was interesting and definitely helped the level objectives to make sense. If you like time management games you'll love this one- if you're looking for more of a hidden object game, at least give the demo a try. I really enjoyed it.
I really Loved this game. I enjoyed the interaction with the grandmother, however the hidden objects were difficult to get the bonus for me. Loved the story line and all the various customers. But I really enjoyed all the really great receipes and the challenges you had to meet to reach expert. It was a very fast demo for me the time flew so I knew I was addicted. This is going to be a favorite of mine. Thanks Big Fish for helping me enjoy my retirement. :o)
