I'm not a big fan of hidden object games, but the Dream Day games have proved otherwise. Dream Day Wedding made me like these kinds of games more, and Dream Day Honeymoon did just the same. It's very similar in style to the original but with a tropical, Hawaiian twist. There are some easy objects to find and some difficult, but it was never TOO difficult to find them. I liked that you could unlock more hints in case you were stuck; in the previous game you only had 3 hints, but here you can have up to four or five. I also liked the locations; there was a good variety in DD Wedding, and even moreso in DD Honeymoon. And did I mention the music? The music really captured the setting and made me feel like I was in sunny Hawaii. Overall I find this to be a worthy sequel, and while there were a few changes (which I find to be improvements, like with getting extra hints), it never felt different from the feel of the first. If you like DD Wedding, I would definitely recommend this one.
This game is personal for me. I lost my beautiful 22 yr. old daughter named Jennifer, called Jenny 18 yrs ago. Playing these Dream games brought her to life for me. This one added the Elvis and Hawaii effect for me in the music. The best part was having choices where I really tried to make her choices, was great. This was so great for me and can not express what it meant to me. I had a blast playing with my daughter on her special days. Thank you so very much. A great game I Love them all. :) Highly recommend.
Although I do like this game, it has been the most frustrating of all the Dream Day games. The negative reviews are right when they say the items are WAY too integrated into the background. It's really hard to find just about everything. The hints are also rather annoying because if you don't see exactly where Cupid's arrow lands, you miss the clue. Seriously, once I was watching Cupid's arrow fall and I blinked and missed where it landed. But still, I like the game. It has a lovely story line and pretty scenes. And the "Choose-a-Story" mini game is fun.
The game is colorful and the HOS very detailed. Each chapter ends with a mini-game. At first, I liked the music - thought the upbeat tempo refreshing, but later it started to grate on me. The mini-games aren't challenging. There isn't really a story, but that's okay for this type of game. The Dream Day games follow the same format, but I prefer Dream Day - First Home better. Items seem harder to find in Honeymoon and I got tired of the eyestrain. Still, it's not a bad game if you like straight HOGs and have a large screen (that's large, not just a widescreen) or perfect eyesight, in which case, I would recommend as worth a trial at least.
Maybe it's me, I don't know, but I didn't like the graphics in this game at all. I only managed to play 3 minutes, & gave up. Items are integrated into the scene too much. I couldn't see what was what.
Cute game - don't need to think. Items are hidden pretty well. Mini-games are so-so. Good time filler.
I have enjoyed every one of the Dream Day games, and this one is no exception. You can play fun hidden object scenes and minigames as you interactively plan the couple's honeymoon.
There are several Dream Days games and I have them all. No scary whatevers, no timing if you play Casual, and, happily, no running back and forth between areas to get the one item you need to continue on another area. These are pretty much straight on hidden object games. At the end of each chapter there are little puzzles that aren't too challenging, but are amusing. This is a game you can play with your children, or they can play alone with no worries of what they will see or hear. Each one of the series have themes, Wedding Day, Wedding in Manhatten or Italy, Honeymoon, New House. I don't remember all of the exact names of them but I do know that I will always buy whatever they put out. They are not graphics intensive and there isn't anything happening in the sounds that would cause you to turn the sound off when the kids are around or visiting. These are sweet games. Sometimes I laugh at something in the game. Sometimes the wedding cake, wedding dress, or some part of a house will have a CRISIS! and you must find all items to continue. The Dream Day games have good, old fashioned, themes. I absolutely recommend this game. Not flashy, but always good.
This was one of my first games and I loved it then as I do now. This series is very nicely done. The graphics are rich and colorful. It is just a standard hidden object game, not like the newer ones of today but what it lacks in adventure,it makes up in cuteness..
This is just the kind of Hidden Object Game I love. Beautiful tropical scenes, sometimes bright, sometimes soothing and always-challenging hidden objects. Get ready for an aerobic session for the eyes. The Hawaiian music, though repetitious, can be so relaxing, you run out of time! No boring 'match three' mini games or 'silver polishing' for a half hour--sorry fans of 'True Love'--, just lots of things to find in time periods short enough to make you work. I hated to see the game end.
