A scathing indictment of one town's unhealthy level of dependence on a single workaholic waitress and obsession with pleasing the wealthy and impatient. No, really, this game and the sequel are fun and challenging enough to tease my brain without being stressful (Diner Dash et al. remind me too much of work and stop being fun after too long). The storyline is cheesy but works great as a framing device. I will definitely be around to check out any more sequels!
Avenue Flo is a fun and cute cartoonish adventure with "brainteaser", "memory", "hiddeobject", "labyrinth" and "frantic clicking" minigames/features involved. From the initial game lead in song and cartoonish looks then the games looks quite childish, however I think that it is not. Ofcourse one must be ready to accept the cartoonish looks of the game (which I actually finds charming). The young female character that one controls in the game is cute , upbeat and funny in style. especially in some of the conversations with other game characters, The adventure itself is of light or medium difficulty and for a game of its character I think that it got a rather good "storyline". However , I think that the game is ruined by some of the minigames and the fact that those too difficult can not be skipped (on the other hand could all the minigames be skipped the whole game would be over quite soon). There is especially a "min game" where one must click colored icons on a wheel that rotates that is too difficult , I had to leave the "mini game" because I got so annoyed that level 6 were so difficult, I then came back and finished the level/"mini game" but were only able to do so by utilizing a technique I will not disclose here (but NO cheating involved). There were two memory "mini games" I were only able to finish by respectively using pen and paper (involved sound) and by "winging it" (involved memory of game places and characters). Also I found a mini game where some animals made noise very annoying because the animals made so much noise , a labyrinth "min game" I found annoying because it were PacMan like in movement but one did neither have the use of game controller nor being able to see whole labyrinth at one time., And the last "mini game" were quite boring/meaningless . So though "Avenue Flo is actually a fun and cute cartooni
love love LOVE the Avenue Flo series please make more!
loved it, hope for a new game soon.
I love every single games with Flo & friends! They are entertaining, fun, cute and interesting! I loved it!
I Love all the Flo Games : ) I Would buy them all!
I was getting tired of the Diner games, doing the same thing over and over, just in a different setting, and was not going to try this one but decided to anyway since got a free trial. I'm glad I did. I love this game. It has mini puzzles, hidden objects and you get to see more of Dinertown and some of its characters (only this time you get to interact with them). The game has some of the same mini puzzles you find in other games but they have some new puzzles too. I found this game a little challenging but not something that was really hard to solve. It was relaxing and fun to play. I felt the game was long enough to get your money's worth but was sorry when it ended.
I thought is was adorable! Give it a chance. You won't want to stop.
Some might find it a teensy bit childish, but everyone can be childlike once in a while, right? It made me feel happy, and the puzzles and walking around was a new thing with Dash games. The game really sucked me in and I couldn't stop playing. Definitely a game for all ages, and if I had a kid, I would play it with him/her.
Highly recommended for those who loved the Diner Dash series! Challenging puzzles, fun story line, is not a short game, it is worth it to go ahead and buy the game. It combines the hidden object aspect in fun new ways!
